“I think we all need a pep talk”
Kid president, I really did need that pep talk.
ADELE AIN’T TAKIN NONE OF YOUR SHIT CHRIS BROWN
Adele and Beyonce are the actual queens of the world. This is their world and we are so fortunate to live in it.
Throw back to when I first fell in love with Steel Train. In 2009 I followed Hanson on tour through out the country. I went to 15 shows. I had some of the greatest times and I met some of the best people.
(someday I will stop being nostalgic for a time when I was seeing steel train several times a year. But that day is not today.)
I WILL BE THERE.
(that is assuming that Jack guest lists me for the show like he said he would)
ahhhhhhhh
He’s the best person in the whole wide world. I think I’ll bring him a treat. Also I’m probably going to go there after work, by myself. Which is makes me sad.

Steel Train tonight!
Steel Train - Better Love (Live at the Bowery Ballroom, Jan 5th 2013)
I’m sorry for posting this because I know it’ll set some of you off again. But this video is really significant to me. To us.
At the start you can hear us all goofing around coming out of Touch Me Bad. I take off my jacket and put it on the stage (which you see) then I put on a silly broad Yorkshire accent and say “Tell you what love, it’s bloody hot down ‘ere!” which, in a room full of Americans, is all the proof you need that I was there. Jack announces ‘Better Love’ and Ivy says “OK guys, just start crying now!” Has anyone got some tissues?
He begins to tear up during the first few chords which sets us off too, crying and aww-ing at him as I say “Ohh Jack, stop!”. Tears roll throughout and we quietly sob-giggle at each other. In the break before the last verse, Vanessa says “This is ridiculous!” which is when Jack smiles. We all start to laugh and he looks down at us and laughs too. I say “Look what you’ve done to us!” and he smiles again before biting his lip and looking up. You can’t quite see the tears rolling down his cheeks, but we could.
It still sort of breaks my heart, and yet it’s so perfect. I’m just glad you can’t see our messy blubbering faces!
One of my favorite things about the show as a whole was that Jack only came to our side of the stage.
